Hawthorns is a 1970’s detached house within the Conservation Area.
We have remodelled the property introducing open plan living with a classic New England style. A single storey rear extension has been added with a tall vaulted ceiling, connecting the open plan living spaces to the garden with roof terrace over.
The front elevation has been lifted by replacing the tile hanging with weatherboard. An additional bedroom has been added to the first floor introducing a large gable roof, framing the main entrance under a large veranda, with traditional joinery detailing providing a Cape Cod style.
