Senior Surveyor / Associate - Croydon
Focusing on office and warehouse sectors, the main surveying duties are to undertake rent reviews and lease renewals, and to advise on L&T matters throughout Surrey and the Home Counties working closely with the Agency Team. Dependent on the candidate and their experience, the role may also include undertaking and/or overseeing valuations for bank lending, accounting and other purposes and/or Leasehold Reform valuations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in contributing to the growth of the department by developing existing clients and winning new ones.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DIVISION
Commercial Property Manager / Senior Surveyor - London
We currently have a vacancy in our London office as part of the London Property Management Department. The role is to manage a portfolio of commercial property from SHW’s London Office, reporting to the Partner in charge but also direct to clients. The postholder will also be responsible for enhancing the client relationship by seeking to refer other SHW services, where appropriate.
Property Administrator – Residential (x2) - London
We currently have 2 vacancies for administrators to provide assistance within the London Residential Property Management Division. Duties include communicating with tenants, sub tenants, landlords and contractors on a daily basis. Obtaining quotations for works following discussion with the Property Managers and instructing a contractor to attend to works required at the property using a works order form in accordance with agreed procedures.
Facilities Manager - London
We are recruiting an experienced Facilities Manager who will be responsible for the facilities management of a portfolio of properties based north of the M4, London, Beds, Northants and Essex. Main duties include ensuring H&S compliance; control of expenditure Inc. service charge budgets and closure; inspections, instructions of works, contractor management; procurement and tenders. The role is based mainly on site, with one day per week working from the London office, with home working outside of these permitted.
H&S Officer - Crawley
We have a full-time vacancy for a H&S Officer whose main duties are to support Property Managers on health & safety issues and to provide coordination between Health & Safety Advisors and the Property Managers. Duties include maintaining the Health & Safety Management system for managed properties by reviewing documentation and ensuring that relevant maintenance contracts are in place and maintenance issues are actioned and records maintained on the Health & Safety Management database. Supporting the Property Managers and ensuring all risk assessments are undertaken on time and uncontrolled risks are identified and controlled.
Graduate / Surveyor - Crawley
To provide assistance to the busy and pro-active Crawley Agency team. The role includes building inspections, viewings and general agency work including calling applicants and implementing marketing campaigns. The role is varied dealing with Warehouse & logistics properties, offices, retail and development sites. A good phone manor and confidence on the telephone and meeting people is essential.
