SHW - Planned Preventative Maintenance in Epsom Residential Block

This case study relates to a three-storey residential block in Epsom comprising 32 leasehold flats. The building was originally constructed for office use in the 1980s and converted into residential accommodation in 2015. The managing agent, acting on behalf of the freeholder, commissioned a planned maintenance report to support long-term building management which our Building Consultancy Department handled.

SHW Case Study: Façade Remediation Project

A residential building in South West London, required a comprehensive façade remediation scheme to address issues relating to external wall construction and compliance with updated building safety standards. The project formed part of a broader initiative to improve building safety, enhance performance, and restore confidence among residents. A key component of the works involved the removal and replacement of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) insulation render systems, ensuring the building met current fire safety and performance requirements while also improving durability and aesthetics.
