Protecting people from fire – providing assurance to our clients

SHW Building Consultancy provide Fire Risk Management solutions to our clients with a wide range of services to help them remain compliant with fire legislation. Our focus is on delivering client expectations in a professional, cost-effective and proactive way.

SHW’s fire-related services include:


  • Fire risk assessments
  • Fire strategies
  • Fire surveys
  • Emergency evacuation plans
  • Personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPs)
  • Fire signage audits
  • Compartmentation/fire door audits


The Health and Safety team recently undertook fire risk assessments for Grange Management for their portfolio of 200+ retirement and residential properties. We worked closely with our client to agree the methodology, arranged convenient times with the scheme managers, carried out the fire risk assessments and provided comprehensive fire risk assessment reports and spreadsheets. We have also been able to successfully help our client in defending the fire management of properties with fire enforcement teams.
