James joined the Brighton office of SHW in 2017 working in the Agency Team, having previously worked for a commercial surveying practice in Birmingham.

James predominantly deals with the acquisition and disposal of Business Space in Brighton & Hove and the surrounding towns, providing strategic marketing advice to a range of corporate Landlords and individuals.

James qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2017 after studying an undergraduate in Real Estate at Birmingham City University. 

Since joining SHW, James has been involved in the sale and letting of numerous properties across Sussex acting on behalf of new and existing SHW clients.

James has experience covering a full range of agency work including:-

• Acquisition and disposals for private individuals, plc’s and institutions
• Strategic property advice on disposals
• Strategic advice on the asset management of office schemes
• Development advice

Recent projects James has been involved with include:-

• Letting 100,000 sq ft of New Build Grade A offices at Edward St Quarter in Brighton
• Letting of 33,000 sq ft of New Build Grade A office Space at Circus Street, Brighton on behalf of LandSec
• Acquisition of 15,000 sq ft at Gemini House on behalf of a Tech occupier seeking a new HQ.
• Disposal of 10,500 sq ft Medical Building on behalf of a National Charity.
• Disposal of Grade A office space within the new Hanningtons Lane development on behalf of Redevco UK
