Lewes continues to prove a popular location

Acting on behalf of the landlord, SHW have let Unit 28 on the Cliffe Industrial Estate, Lewes to Hanover Displays, who already occupy a number of units on the estate.



The 9,688 sq ft unit with an enclosed yard was let on a new lease, in a town where industrial space is at a premium.

 

SHW in conjunction with joint letting agents Flude Commercial are also marketing a further 2,358 sq ft.

 

Industrial availability in Lewes is at a historically low level of only 5,000 sq ft, and rents have correspondingly increased over the last few years to £11-12 psf from circa £7 psf.

 

Industrial Partner David Martinsaid:

 

“Unit 28 went under offer prior to formal marketing. The Cliffe Industrial Estate continues to prove popular to both existing occupiers on the estate and companies from further afield and we are pleased to have agreed a new letting for the landlord within a couple of months of the unit becoming vacant.”
