The appointment supports Be First’s wider commercial and regeneration objectives, helping to ensure that the Council’s assets are well managed, support local businesses, generate income for public services and create opportunities for future investment and growth across the Borough.

 

SHW will work across 250 commercial and mixed-use assets in the portfolio, predominantly retail parades. These properties play an important role in supporting business activity and employment while generating long-term value for local residents.

 

As the Council’s urban regeneration agency, Be First will continue to lead the strategic asset management, investment and development of the portfolio. SHW will provide operational property management services, including tenant liaison, property maintenance, inspections, compliance management and lease administration, helping to ensure that the assets are managed efficiently and occupiers receive a high-quality service.
