A team of 14 spent Friday clearing the remains of an old archery range, dismantling and transporting wood, fencing and netting as part of the site’s Woodland Management Programme. It was a hard day’s work and a great effort by everyone in helping restore the site for future use.

Matt Morris says: “We’re very grateful for everyone at Bears Wood for welcoming us back. Seeing how our previous contributions have taken shape is a great reminder of the impact of our volunteering and we’re proud to be able to help out at a valuable community space”
