CSR, SHW News
As chosen by its team members, SHW has announced FareShare - Sussex & Surrey will be its second charity partner for 2025, alongside Nightwatch Croydon, now in the second year of its partnership.

FareShare
Established in 2002, FareShare is the region’s leading food distribution charity, set up with the aim to fight hunger in the community by tackling food waste.
Serena Taylor, Associate at SHW says “We are delighted to have the opportunity to support FareShare as SHW’s new chosen charity. We got to see first hand how much FareShare do for the communities to help those in need, so are excited to be involved.”
The food FareShare redistributes is nutritious and good to eat. It reaches charities across the UK, including school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Every week they provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people.
SHW has previously volunteered with FareShare, during 2024 participating in 6 sessions over a period of 3 days. And Duncan Marsh, Partner, Regional Head for SHW Sussex Coastal Offices finally added “It was a pleasure to help FareShare during 2024 and see what goes into such a large operation and great cause, I look forward to volunteering here over the next year and fundraising for this amazing charity.”
