SHW's Easter bunny helped deliver fun for younger Newhall residents

Property Management, SHW News

Festive fun was had at Newhall, Harlow this week with an Easter egg hunt and visit from the Easter bunny, organised by the Newhall Social Club and supported by SHW the managing agents. A series of clues led children from treat to treat, and SHW's Laura Ritchie dressed up as the fictional figure of seasonal rebirth.

Newhall is highly unusual, it is a large new residential community, created out of award-winning contemporary housing with another 1,000 yet to be completed.

Matthew Byatt of the Newhall Community Centre said: "Seed funding from SHW and the Newhall Project made this event possible for the residents. They even managed to arrange fantastic weather! Community is at the heart of Newhall and such events bring people together and with the opening of the café and also the school this all helps to build this sense of community and belonging."

Laura said: "It was very hot under the suit given the weather, everyone had a lovely day - kids and parents alike left happy and full of chocolate. It's all part of making Newhall a thriving community."
