Over recent years there has been increasing interest from property investors in opportunities outside the four main sectors of residential, retail, office and industrial into what the property press has broadly termed the ‘alternative property investment sector’. SHW has recently sold a former chalet bungalow in East Grinstead let to a well-established dental practice at £30,000 per annum on a lease with just over four years unexpired.
Client Dr JB said: "The process of the sale by SHW was thorough and helpful at every stage. Charles Bramly handled all matters with excellent communication and leadership. I would definitely recommend SHW for sales of properties of this nature."
Charles Bramly, SHW investment Partner said: “Offers were invited in excess of £440,000 for the freehold property, and following strong interest and an informal tender process the property was sold for significantly more, leaving quite a few disappointed investors keen to invest in medical property or in the wider alternative property sector. We would welcome other vendors with similar premises to contact us.”
