SHW completes project at Sloane Street, London.

SHW on behalf of Cadogan Estates have just completed an External Repairs, Maintenance & Redecoration Works at 40 Lower Sloane Street, London, SW1W 8BP. The contract was to be completed within 12 weeks and the budget was £75,097.50 and came in £1,956.12 under budget.
The works consisted of the following:

Brickwork/Stone repairs & Cleaning

Roof Repairs

Rainwater good repairs

Window repairs

Decoration of previously painted items

Terra Cotta Brickwork repairs
William Kerr, Building Surveyor at SHW commented “We are most proud of the extensive terra cotta works to the first-floor balcony and triangular pediment which included taking a moulding of the existing tablet or ‘frieze’ and having it cast and then installed. This took about 4 months to produce as it is very specialist and finished by hand.”
