SHW Supports Frogmore Community College Sports Teams with New PE Kit
CSR, Education, Investment, SHW News
SHW has demonstrated its commitment to supporting local communities by sponsoring new sports kits for students at Frogmore Community College in Yateley, Hampshire.

Following the school's transition into the Weydon Multi Academy Trust (WMAT) in 2024, it was identified that several of the college's sports teams did not have dedicated PE kit to wear when representing the school at competitions and fixtures against other schools. Recognising the importance of sport in promoting teamwork, confidence and wellbeing, SHW agreed to provide sponsorship to help address this need.
The sponsorship funded new kits for the school's football, netball, basketball and athletics teams, ensuring students could proudly represent Frogmore Community College in organised sporting events.
The initiative builds on SHW's wider relationship with Frogmore Community College through its ongoing architectural and estate improvement projects delivered for the Weydon Multi Academy Trust. The company was pleased to support an opportunity that directly benefits students and encourages participation in sport.
Photographs provided by the school show the new kits already in use by students, helping to create a stronger sense of team identity and school pride while supporting the development of competitive sports across the college. The school has confirmed its approval for the use of these images in SHW communications.
As well as investing in the school's physical environment through architectural improvements, SHW is proud to contribute to opportunities that enhance the wider student experience and support young people both inside and outside the classroom.
Comment from Julia Kordes, Associate Architect at SHW
"At SHW, we are passionate about supporting the communities in which we work, so we were delighted to sponsor new sports kits for the football, netball, basketball and athletics teams at Frogmore Community College. Sport plays an important role in helping young people build confidence, develop teamwork skills and promote positive wellbeing, and we wanted to ensure that students had the opportunity to represent their school with pride when competing against other schools."
"Having worked closely with the school and the Weydon Multi Academy Trust on estate improvement projects, we understand the positive impact that investment can have on
students' educational experience. We hope this sponsorship will help encourage participation in sport and create a lasting sense of identity and achievement for the students wearing the new kits. It is fantastic to see the teams already putting them to good use."
