SHW have now completed on the freehold sale of part of an existing care home on behalf of Mencap. The sale has enabled the charity to invest the proceeds in upgrading the existing facility to provide the best care possible. Surveyor Harry Speed said: “We began marketing this site in the Winter of 2019, unsurprisingly it received a good market response. Terms were agreed for a sale which included a delayed completion to help facilitate our client’s relocation and subdivisional works. The client was delighted with the result which will ensure the long-term success of the facility. We are now very pleased to have found a new owner who will likely repurpose this site for residential units.”
