Peabody Housing Association have acquired the Freehold interest in Osiers Road, Wandsworth from Russell-Cooke Trust Company.

Development

The site extends to just over one acre of multi let dated commercial space. The deal was subject to planning for 168 flats and 50,000 sq ft of commercial space. The Scheme is to be constructed by Hollybrook Ltd who assembled the package deal on behalf of Peabody.

The Scheme came together as a result of a development agreement between the Freeholder and Leaseholders. Russell-Cooke Solicitors and SHW acted for Russell-Cooke Trust Company. It was a true team effort and a credit to the professionalism of Katie Cooper at Russell-Cooke Solicitors said Richard Plant of SHW.

SHW and JLL acted for the vendors. Richard Plant of SHW said:

"It has been a long and hard fought deal particularly when planning consent was initially refused by the London Borough of Wandsworth only to be overturned by the Mayor. We are all delighted to see the completion of this deal on 2 January 2020 and look forward to the construction of the scheme to provide much needed affordable housing in the London Borough of Wandsworth.
