Successful recipe lands 12,000 sq ft bespoke biscuit letting
SHW Business Space have recently let Unit 2 Greenlea Park, Wimbledon to luxury gifting company Biscuiteers on a 15-year lease. The 12,417 sq ft premises will accommodate the expansion of the original hand-iced biscuit company formed in 2007 by husband and wife duo Harriet Hastings and Stevie Congdon.
SHW Head of London Business Space Alex Gale said: "The Wimbledon industrial market - like many others in South London is very tight, especially with preparations for a major new Crossrail exchange and this continues to put pressure and demand on availability of units and the level of rents being agreed."
Stevie Congdon of Biscuiteers stated "Unit 2 is superbly located for the next phase of growth of our business and will act as the new Biscuiteers HQ facility. The plans for developing the space will deliver a 20,000 square foot facility which will bring unity to the business which is currently operating out of multiple production and office sites in South London."
