SHW's continuing role in promoting and supporting the profession

We are proud of our record in helping our surveyors to become members of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors). We currently have 29 internal and six external graduates and apprentices on route to RICS qualification with the firm. Furthermore, we participate in events such as the recent Whitgift School careers evening (pictured below). Recently qualified Building Surveyor Wayne Davidson (right) and General Practice graduate surveyor George Young (left) giving their time to help the sixth form pupils with their career choices.

Rob Dixon, the SHW Director responsible for assisting people with qualification said: "All the professions, including RICS and the Royal Town Planning Institute of are keen to attract the best people with the potential to qualify. It is part of our mission to assist the younger generation in selecting this exciting career path but also promoting our sector in order to attract the brightest and best."

"Surveying is an exciting career path and SHW is pleased to take its share of responsibility for training and inspiring the next generation."
