SHW increases rent on large industrial unit enhancing client's freehold value

SHW Lease Advisory in Brighton recently advised the landlord, Palace Street Developments Limited on a rent review against Howdens. The unit comprised just over 15,300 sq ft and slightly under a 16.5% increase was achieved on the passing rent on the Davigdor Road warehouse.



Paul Spruce, Lease Advisory Partner in the SHW Brighton office commented: "Despite the size of the unit, my client was pleased to achieve this level of increase on the rent review. There still remains a lack of supply of industrial units in the Brighton and Hove area and the increase in rental value also helps enhance the freehold investment value which is important for my client's portfolio."
