SHW BCD were appointed to initially prepare a terminal schedule of dilapidations. Following resolution of the claim, SHW were appointed to provide Contract Administrator and Principal Designer services for internal and external refurbishment works.
The project involved; a flat roof overlay, brickwork repairs and repointing, external façade decorations, window replacement, floor finish replacements and decorations.
The scope of the works undertaken by SHW included carrying out an initial inspection and compiling a schedule of works, preparing detailed tender documentation, a tender analysis report, regular progress inspection and certifying payment. In addition to this SHW fulfilled the Principle Designer role in accordance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 alongside our in house CDM advisor team.
SHW completed the works as specified and within budget, ready for the incoming tenant (let by SHW).
