Epsom – attracting significant new occupiers

According to a recent Independent article Epsom and Ewell is one of the top ten happiest places in the UK.



A number of noteworthy companies have recently decided to lease space in the town, making the most of the wide range of amenities in the town including the Ashley Shopping Centre, coffee shops, restaurants, gyms and cinema. The recent inclusion of Epsom Station within the TFL Oyster Zone is also a big positive for occupiers.

 

Notable recent office transactions include:

 

  • Skyguard, the world’s largest lone worker protection provider, is taking the entire 17,000 sq ft at the refurbished 20-24 East Street, moving from their existing headquarters in West Ewell
  • Nationwide care provider Prestige Nursing + Care have let 5,000 sq ft at Kirkgate, moving from Wallington
  • Cloud-based software house Cirrus Response have also leased 4,000 sq ft at Kirkgate,  relocating from Richmond
  • Gas connection and metering specialists Squire Energy have taken 2,500 sq ft at 55 High Street, moving from their existing offices in Leatherhead.

 

Following the recent lettings, key availability in the town is as follows:
